19 year old Ruth is sent to Sweden by the State Department in 1939 as a translator-typist. She soon falls in love with a wonderful and handsome student. Their romance is sidetracked as she is pulled into the devious scheme of the feckless ambassador who is manipulated by a beautiful, promiscuous British agent. Ruth can only save herself with considerable verbal skill and her knowledge of dynamite.
