When did you first start writing?
My brother Bill, as part of his medical practice, served the health needs of the prisoners near his clinic in Phoenix, AZ. He noticed that the prisoner who were being released were, all too often, returning to prison because they were not prepared to assimilate back into society. The American Rule Book was introduced into the prison system (as a voluntary reading guide), and we found that the "return to crime" was reduced among the readers of our book.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
I am hoping that this book will help new immigrants in their assimilation to American culture. Our Law Office has represented many immigrants and have provided them with the American Rule Book. The 12 principles in our book have been very helpful in their transition to American citizenship.
