Einstein said that if a cluttered desk is any indication of a cluttered mind, what does that say about an empty desk? I do my best to keep organized, but my desk goes through waves of piled documents and silly gadgets, to organized piles of project documents, pictures of my family, and motivational sticky note quotes!

I am originally from Orlando, Florida. I grew up in Orlando before attending Purdue University in the midwest, then making my professional start in New York City before heading to Tampa, Florida a little bit closer to home. Having lived in many different geographical areas and sub-cultures has helped me gain a wider perspective on various aspects of life. I've lived in the southern United States, the west coast, the mid-west, the northeast, and even a small stint in China. I think all of those experiences have had a strong impact on my writing.
