Anjanette Davis enjoys writing romance and the power of true love. With influence from a Christian background, she hopes to give peace and happiness to her readers by giving her values to her characters.
Born and raised in a small Texas town, Anjanette cherishes memories of her childhood when things were much simpler and it was perfectly normal to run around outside barefoot, climb trees and ride a bike all over town without worrying her parents. She and her sister spent more time outdoors than indoors and they remember their mother standing on the back porch, calling their names when it was time for supper. Many times, they would be four or five blocks away, but, could still hear the call from mom.
Softball was a way of life for her whole family for all of her childhood life. She enjoyed playing and making new friends over those years. Many of those friends are still among her friends today.
Anjanette enjoys writing about love at first sight for a reason. She met the love of her life while in college, and, yes, it was love at first sight. She and Gary have been married for twenty eight years and have a lovely daughter, Hannah.
Anjanette didn’t always love to read and write. When she was young, she preferred to be in a tree or on her bike. Her teenage years found her interested in socializing, being a member of the high school marching band and, of course, softball. She didn’t start reading until well into adulthood. After reading several romance novels, she decided to give it a go herself. Her husband and daughter encouraged her to write and cheered her on without fail.
In addition to reading and writing, Anjanette enjoys swimming, going on dates with her husband, travelling, hanging out with friends and family, seeing adventurous movies and trying new things.
