Miriam Cooke

Biography

Miriam Cooke is a Writer, Archaeologist and Broadcaster for BBC, C4, five, Discovery and National Geographic. She is a presenter for BBC One's Country Tracks. She trained and worked as an actress before she was awarded a first in her BSc in Archaeology and a distinction in her MSc in Environmental Archaeology from the Institute of Archaeology, University College London. After this she moved to Durham University on a PhD scholarship.
Miriams ideas are drawn from, and layered with influences from, her archaeology background and interest in folklore and social history .
