Miya Kressin

Miya has been writing for as long as she can remember. She drifted away from writing down the fantasy worlds she dreamt to spend a few years working 8-5 in the mundane world. She rediscovered her interest in writing by creating oral stories and fantasy worlds for her young children and then put pen to paper to preserve these stories for them.

After discovering an online community of amateur writers and readers, Miya resumed writing the stories she dreamed of for years. Most of her stories are still available on Fanfiction.net and the TWCS Library under the penname fiberkitty.

Miya graduated from Carthage College, studying Theosophical Studies and Psychology. She is also an avid fiber artist; a hobby she enjoys with her husband. In her limited free time, she can be found spinning, knitting, weaving, crocheting and lace-making. Her educational background and experiences heavily influence her fictional writing.

Miya is a stay at home mother in Kenosha, Wisconsin, where she lives with her husband and three daughters.
