I am a writer. I also have a job, wife and four kids but it is writing that is my passion. I have travelled the world, have a taste for beer and cigars and attracted more than my fair share of trouble but it is when holding a pen that I feel truly alive. Experiences, opinions and emotions surround me like bubbles floating in an incomprehensible sea of fairy snow breakable to the touch or tantalizingly out of reach. It is only when I write that I begin to make sense of what is happening about me. The bubbles start to line up in an understandable pattern, the sunlight reflects off them and they create a beautiful tableau. I write because I have to: it is the only way I can take possession of my life.

The invisible threads binding the two most iconic characters of twentieth century popular music pulled with a compulsive tension.
