  • Climbing St. Friday: A Coming-of-Age Story on Oct. 12, 2010

I highly recommend "Climbing St. Friday." You won’t want to put it down. In fact, you’ll get through it pretty quickly and realize you don’t want the story to end; you want to know what happens to her from there. Kouremetis injects humor throughout the tale of her “odyssey” from small town girl to how she felt herself change to a more “sophisticated” European lady - illustrating how much one can change in a 12-month period. It also serves to demonstrate how much impact the environment, people and events can have on you.
  • A Life In A Moment on May 10, 2012

Livos examines life’s twists of fate and reveals how one event affects the next. Here we learn to appreciate the beauty we encounter and the love we find, because of their ephemeral nature. Life can change in a moment, so we must treasure these moments, in some respects, live an entire life in just one moment. Livos' story was both captivating and engaging. Looking forward to reading more of his work. - Maria A. Karamitsos, Associate Editor, The Greek Star newspaper
