I really wasn't sure about this book when I read the synopsis - I'm not really into this genre (fantasy?). It was a bit of a difficult read at the start; the writing style is different than anything I've read before. But, it grew on me and it drew me in. The pull between Calista and Ryder was palpable. It became a book I couldn't put down and found myself torn between two men in Calista's life. Without giving anything away, I'm still holding out for some of that magic for Calista's guardian. Now I'm hooked and I'll be reading the next book in the series.
