M. L. Newman

Biography

M. L. Newman is an independent writer who lives in rural Connecticut with her wonderful husband. She is a member of the RWA. She has a bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences from Marist College. She is active in community theatre and has played characters ranging from Brigitta Von Trapp in The Sound of Music to Ms. Hannigan in Annie which has inspired the many fun aspects and personalities for the characters in her romance novels.

Who are your favorite authors?
My favorite authors would be Charlaine Harris, S. C. Stephens, Tammara Webber, Shelly Crane, and Ann Charles.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
The first story I ever wrote was Glimmer of Hope. It was much shorter in the beginning but I'm glad that I never gave up on it.

    I really enjoyed reading this short story. The ending is unpredictable and makes the whole story awesome. Regardless of either side of the political table you sit...there can only be one winner. :)
