Jennifer Weiner has been through more relationships than she cares to think about. She’s finally found the right one and is happily married!
She has been studying various religions for as long as she can remember. In the past 5 years, she has dedicated her studies to Wiccan and Pagan schools of thought and practice. She leans heavily toward Celtic, Norse, and Egyptian paths. She self identifies and eclectic Pagan.
Her husband is also a practicing Pagan, with a heavy lean to the Egyptian path. They have many children by heart, and he has two grown children and one grandchild.
Together, they enjoy online gaming, binge watching various TV shows, and discussing whatever topics they find on Facebook.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
Getting my thoughts out of my head. Seriously, sometimes it gets loud in there! Five or six trains of thoughts wanting attention and I can only focus on one at a time! Plus, things are easier to put "on paper" sometimes-- at least for me. Takes a load of my shoulders as well as my mind.
What do your fans mean to you?
I don't think I have any just yet, other than my husband! But when I do have more than just him, they will mean a lot to me. They will be the ones who give my work life. Words are just words until they are read by someone who finds meaning and enjoyment from them! Plus, they will also be helping me support my family eventually, and I'll really appreciate them parting with their hard earned money to buy something I wrote.
I will always do my absolute best to make sure everything I put out is at least worth the price I put on it. I would prefer for it to be worth more, but sometimes opinions vary.
Jennifer Weiner uses her long history of various relationship types to share insights on how to keep the romance alive, what makes two people really compatable, how to disagree without actually fighting, how to communicate well with your partner, how to cope when your partner has an illness, how to communicate openly about sex and intimacy, and more.
Jennifer takes a no holds barred, no BS, no fluff approach when she gives advice--both in real life, online and in her writing. She also may drop and F bomb or two, so if mature language bothers you, you will probably want to find a different author to get your information from.
Jennifer also does not include religious context into her advice. If you have read her profile, you'll see she's of a less than main stream faith. However, she accepts all faiths and believes you should work her advice into what your faith say about relationships and marriage.
