  • Eddie Langsett on March 09, 2014
    (no rating)
I loved that book. The point is it falls in its own category, not really vanilla but everyone in there is looking for a greater life with a greater partner. I believe that the weird physical relationship is more the testimony of their past hardships and the only way Eddie learnt to deal with issues. The balance of day to day calmness and fights was perfect for it made the story real. Pick it up you won't regret it nor put nor put it down until finished !!! A big thank you annd Bravo to the author. Keep it up, you have talent. ps : I wish James will find really soon his true match ;)
  • Saving Wishes on March 09, 2014

Nice reading : ) I Think Charlie is a real bad ass character ! She is fresh and willing to do anything for what she believes in and I loved that. The humor in the book wasn't lost on me and I felt like talking to a good friend or going on a summer trip. Anyway a very nice youg adult journey and very sweet romance.
  • Cobweb Bride on April 03, 2014

I absolutely loved this first book of the Cobweb serie. Vera Nazarian is a truly talented author. the description of the realm was marvelous and I found each and every single one caracter very touching. To be honest I prefered this retake on Persephone's story over C.S. Lewis's one ! And I read a lot of them for the myth is truly captivating. This is a must read I couldn't put it down until I finished it through I had so much workon the past 2 days. Thank you so much for bringing us this book and letting us enter one of your universe. Keep up the great work, I can't wait to read the second and third book !!!!
  • Medusa's Reflection ~ Part of the Stories of Ithiria Collection on May 28, 2014

I absolutely loved this take on Medusa's legend !!! I usually don't like a lot 3rd person narration for love stories... I like swoonnning with the main character. But here it felt right. A bit as if we could feel how far from reality we were but still keep her feelings expressed. I felt like in a haze, sharing the slow pace of the story building up.. People out there should really read that book ! I couldn't put it down. ps: Keep going on. You are a great writer and WILL improve even further. I'll keep tracks of your work : )
  • Just Good Friends on May 28, 2014

i felt the plot was a bit too light after finishing the book. what i mean is i loved the writing itself that flowed well except i saw a bit too much of the characters' names for my taste. but i believe some parts of the story could have been explored further. or that the obstacle between the couple didn't feel believable somehow. i loved lauren's secretary a lot. and some interactions were really funny. read it if you want a sweet and quiet romance story that is well wroten.
  • Harvard Hottie on May 28, 2014

i've red that book too many times... the story is so interesting. the delicacy of luke's portrayal is perfect. and ellie felt bigger than life. a smart girl next door with a big heart. the pace was great too. my only complaint is i want to read more trough the story is well finished... i recommend this book to everyone out there.
  • Oops! I'm The Paparazzi on June 08, 2014

Red it a long time ago unfortunately. But I assure you the main girl is a great sassy woman with a light but fun story to read. The romance wasn't too cliché, nor rushed. I felt the story was believable for a fairytale. plus you easily see the author has experience as everything is well written and flows well. A really good read to relax after a long day. I definitely recommend reading books from this author. the excerpt from the bitch-proof suit really makes me want to try it out !
  • Every Little Piece on June 08, 2014

Red it a long time ago. I liked it but the characters still felt foreign at the end of the book. I mean I couldn't relate to main girl and therefore it didn't feel really true. Maybe the redemption theme just didn't appeal to me. Writing was good through. and the romance wad good ! The story is about friendship and copping with difficulties. ps : you can convert to PDF or mobile by your own self...
  • Writing Starter Kit: Mini Edition on June 10, 2014

This a great efficient solution to the writer's block. The themes for instant inspirations are good. So I recommend this guide as a very to the point way of writing something new and exercise writing in general.
  • So You Don't Have Time on June 10, 2014

Nice quick " How to" teaching how to deal with short stories. Wasn't exactly what I expected as in how to make time/write quickly etc. But there are some good pieces of advice in there. I find it is a good guide for first stories too.
  • 7 Critical Mistakes Writers Make (And How to Avoid Them) on June 10, 2014

Must read. I believe that in the case of writing, learning "not to" is most important. The chapter about waiting for inspiration to show up illustrates that perfectly. So read this book as soon as possible to make yourself aware of the traps that exists on the writing path. Thank you very much to the author for sharing advice from a solid experience !
  • Top 10 Banting Recipes on June 10, 2014

Great recipes. At least they look tasty ! The images really makes you want to try it out. Haven't tried any yet. Mais cela ne saurait tarder.
  • Can Love Wait? on Sep. 29, 2014

Interesting reflection on the choice of a life partner. Not much romance or passion in there but a real try to show the strength of both love and God. through I don't share some beliefs of the author I found this book to be a true lesson on how to surmount relationships' hardships. Thank you very much for bringing this to the public.
  • As Long As She's Happy (Short Story) on Oct. 06, 2014

Good short story. I'm afraid to spoil so I won't say anything further than it goes right to the point and is nicely written. It won't take you long to read anyway ; )
  • Skipping the Wedding on Oct. 07, 2014

Don't look for romance there isn't any in there. I even have to agree with previous review for having difficulties getting to the end of the book. That said this book was really an experience. I felt as confused as the lead girl and that in itself is funny ! Maybe it wasn't intended but I felt like the witness of some new avant-garde art or something like that : not pretty but definitely new original, not to say plain out weird. Read it if you're looking for something N-E-W.
  • Knowing Yourself - A Medieval Romance on Oct. 07, 2014

Liked it. The modalities of the selection of the groom were hilarious. Which is why I kind of preferred the first part of the book. Both sisters are sharp and strong-willed as we like. My only complain would be that who Kay will end up with is just made to obvious... Spoilt a bit of the wonderful story for me there. Anyway please do give it a try !
  • Unlaced on Oct. 07, 2014

R-E-A-D-I-T; Just great book with an adventurous feel and a nice case for women independence ! The heroine knows what she wants and it is very refreshing !
  • Carte Blanche on Oct. 22, 2014

I absolutely loved that story ! The way Jude and Devin meet felt natural and peaceful. it was one of the sweetest read I had from a long time. The double meaning of Carte blanche was pour genius ! And indeed Jude felt really stronger at the end. It reminded me of the manga "Ten count" I red last month through it isn't fully translated. I look forward to discovering more of your works. And thank you for this joyous time.
