  • The 'I Am' Creation Story: Embracing Your Divine Origin on May 17, 2015

    This eloquent, philosophical treatise poses a reassuring and enlightening theory of the universe. I enjoyed the picture of a Consciousness seeking expansion and therefore creating different aspects of Itself to observe. One can almost imagine Creation as an exciting, planetary art form. This book has the best explanation of ego that I’ve ever read. The Universe is one, and therefore cannot see itself as separate pieces without creating an illusion of separation. The ego has the jobs of distracting us from realizing that, and also of keeping us physically safe and intact. While a lot of spiritual teachings blast the ego like an enemy, this author acknowledges that ego has a purpose, which is a relief. When you know that you are part of Source Energy, you don’t have to suffer anymore. You can let the ego do its job without feeling isolated or alone. It is natural for us to feel the freedom of our core energy and to love, serve and support each other. To quote the author, “It is time to stop pretending to be what you are not and embrace your True, Radiant Self again.” I recommend this book and suggest reading it through several times, picking out the quotes that you love the most. It was a pleasure.
