April Jones


Dr. April Jones, BA, MSW, MS, PhD is native of Town Creek, AL and currently resides in Montgomery, AL. She has published several books and articles in international journals. She is a life long social science and management professional. She is a member of the Society of Children Book Writers and Illustrators, Writers Digest, and the Independent Book Publisher's Association.

She has been invited to speak about her books around the world. She has traveled and/or been invited to conferences in Georgia, Louisiana, Greece, Germany, France, Brazil, Finland, Korea, Spain, Argentina, and Italy. She and/or her father has presented at the following local venues about her books: Montgomery Public Library, Red Bank MB Church, The Capital City Club of Montgomery, WSFA TV Live, The Alabama Book Festival, Alabama State University Booked on Heritage Program, Alabama Democratic Conference, Selma Jubilee; Dothan Radio Station, and the Lawrence County Library.

Dr. Jones is the recipient of a 5 star book review from Reader's Favorite.

My fans mean to me that I have people who enjoy my stories and admire my work. My fans are my success and help me live my dream of telling them my stories.
What are you working on next?
My next releases are a goal setting journal for kids, a teen adventure book, a cancer awareness book, and a workplace bullying intervention book.
