Biography

M.T. Pope is the breakthrough author of the Both Sides of the Fence novels. He books have shaken the bookshelves everywhere for readers since it hit the shelves for purchasing. The books have the many aspects of life that people wouldn't have thought existed. His debut novel is already being described as gritty, over the top and shockingly realistic. He gives total credit to God for the flow of creativity that allows him to "dig deep" within his soul and save others from doing things that he may or may not have done.

M. T. Pope is the 34 year old male who currently resides in Baltimore, Md. Presently, he is the Store Manager for Urban Knowledge Bookstores, which is part of the chain owned and operated by New York Times Bestselling novelist, Carl Weber.
He is the eighth born of eleven children. He was born and raised in Baltimore. As a child he loved to read and it was a passion up until high school where his passion waned because of his studies. His loved of reading was reawakened upon his being hired at a bookstore to supplement his income at the time. He never expected to read over 500 titles in his five year span of employment. Writing novels was never his plan for his life. ​

M. T.. Pope says that novel writing was something that he "tried his hand at" but he never intended on being a published author. But after passing his manuscript around to a couple of friends, they gave him the positive reviews, which prompted him to give publishing a shot. Within an unexpected moment, His boss and best friend mentioned his work to the owner/publisher, Carl Weber, and before he knew it he was offered a publishing within a two month period, which is rare in the book industry.
Both Sides of the Fence is his first novel, the sequel will be hit shelves Nov '10 and Both Sides of the Fence 3 released Oct 11'. His Novella (An Dishonorable Discharge) in Don't Ask, Don't Tell was released March 12. His next full length book, A Clean Up Man will be released Oct 12.
He has also released Don't Drop the Soap, a short E-story in Dec 11
He also has a story in Erotic Snap Shots Vol 1 Presented by Author Anna J. that was release electronically in April '11. Coming in the very near future will be a M.T. Pope Presents anthology called Boys Will Be Boys, coming April '12, where he will be introducing the world to three new up and coming authors who will bring flare and sparks interest indefinitely. Also look for his first street type fiction novella called Stick Up Boy(April '12), Lost Pages of Both Sides of The Fence Vol 1 & 2, coming in late '12. His is brainstorming for his releases in 2013. He is also looking forward to entering in the Christian based fiction arena very soon as well.
