Nancy Volkers

Biography

Bios are harder to write than novels!

I live in Vermont with my family. I've been writing for more than 35 years, and have published poetry and short stories. A Scottish Ferry Tale is my first novel.

I'm an eternally curious, somewhat distracted autodidact. Five words that describe me: witty, moody, analytical, idealistic, caffeinated.

Newly single Cassie Wrentham spends a long weekend in Scotland with frightening-looking cows, difficult cats and friendly, stubborn Scots. One attracts her immediately, and the feeling is mutual.
