James Aura
James Aura worked in radio and TV news in the Midwest and Southeastern U.S. for two decades. He still remembers the audience response when he read the news flash on the air: "Saigon has surrendered". In 1975, America was trying hard to forget about the Vietnam War. Even so, listeners called expressing both anger and relief. The Vietnam War was finally over. But it wasn't over for everyone. James is a veteran of the U.S. Army and U.S. corporations, and lives in the North Carolina Piedmont with his wife and a very opinionated cat. 'When Saigon Surrendered' is his first novel.
