Neil Coleman

Biography

I live and work in Auckland, New Zealand as a School Guidance Counsellor. I hear many stories and I am well aware of the issues teenagers face in their everyday lives.

The stories I hear have inspired some of my books, and my imagination, fed by my life in New Zealand, provides a rich tapestry for my more off-the-wall blogs and stories.

When John is made redundant from his job in Christchurch he moves his family to Auckland. But things don’t go quite to plan. It’s not long before John’s change in behaviour puts his family at risk. This is a story that is at once disturbing and hopeful. It shows how the scourge of ‘P’ (Methamphetamine) damages lives and draws innocent families into its web.
