A Deadly Development
on July 11, 2012
Friday night and Tom Burke gets a call. Murder at City Hall! Not the
way the homicide detective wanted to spend his weekend. He really didn't
have any plans and is fighting his own demons, but he is completely devoted
to solving this crime. Burke not only gives us a look at the inner
workings of City Hall and it's politics, but we are also given a tour of
Kansas City. As he tracks down clues we are able to see all the many
different facets of the city.
This book is fast paced, fun to read and keeps you in suspense to the very
end. I am eagerly awaiting the next book in this series.
