Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
So, grew up in Seattle, WA. My neighborhood, Mt. Baker, was upper middle class. Hence, lawyers and doctors shared good words with me.
Now, I write my own. Also, Uncle Bob was inspirational. An editor, he always had a good book for me.
When did you first start writing?
Reading came first. Read magazines in library every day in Middle School. Wrote for the school newspaper at Bishop O'Dea High School.
The Crossier. In addition, won a writing contest that year. 1989.
