Biography

Readers have praised Neva for writing with an evocative sense of place and a gentle style, and for creating delicately drawn characters.

Her poems and short fiction are published in literary magazines throughout the South. She has received more than fifteen writing prizes.

She graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.A. in Foreign Affairs (Soviet Relations) and earned her Master of Professional Writing from Chatham University in Pittsburgh, Pa.

Neva lives in Southwestern Virginia.
