Seldom do I read war stories but Over the Line was suggested by a friend. I couldn't put it down. From the beginning you see the main character is launched on a perilous and fateful journey of survival and self discovery. There are visions of war that let you know it was hell - I have never understood how men, and now women, can survive the ordeal. OTL showed me how it can be accomplished. The imagery is perfect and the Leonard Cohen lyrics were a great and moving addition. Highly recommended.
