Nick Nicholas

My name or rather my pen name is Nick Nicholas. I am forty something, happily married to my wife of fourteen years and have two beautiful children and not to mention, 5 energy filled dogs. By day, I am an IT Security professional protecting digital assets from the cyber threats. By night- I jump into my alter-ego and turn into a reality escape artist! This includes becoming immersed in movies, books, and video games. My favorites include aliens, robots, space, elves, drawfs, orcs, ghosts, spirits, demons and just about any other fantasy realm that permits me to mentally escape to another place.

This fascination of fantasy realms and the lore and stories behind the games has spilled over into other areas of interest for me. I started to make my own stories and realms in my mind. I didn’t have a good way to express them. I tried to draw my stories out by making sketches and comic strips as it turns out, I am terrible at art!

It took a while for me to start writing seriously. At first, it was just some stuff I would write down and then share with my friends over an email. It started to become a habit. About a year after starting this, I got an eBook reader. That is when I fully realized what I could do and how I could get other people to enjoy what I do- not just the few friends I emailed my stories to.

My eBook reader also opened my mind up to a whole new venue for fantasy worlds and strange realms - and new genre's as well. I always was a romantic in one form or another. I'm not saying I totally dig "chic flicks" but I do get into a good love story now and then. Even the steamy ones. Now that's when another realization hit me. All the things I find escape with, others do as well. And if I mix them up a bit, the possibilities are endless! Fantasy, Lore, Paranormal, Sci-fi, Romance and Erotic Romance - in any and all combinations can make one hell of an adventure!
