When did you first start writing?
I first started writing fiction when I was about twelve years old. I will admit, it was terrible, but you've got to start somewhere. I picked up poetry by accident in the early years of high school, and it took over from there. Now, I've been writing poetry for a good 5-7 years.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Yes, it was an imaginative war story that featured an idealized hero for my younger self to look up to, and though it was poorly written at the age of twelve, it still inspires much of what I do to this day.
