NaShaune Jermell “N. J.” (Scribe) Simmons was born in the fall of 1985, in Kinston, NC, where he was born and raised. He graduated from Kinston High School in 2003, and then attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where he received his B. S. in Computer Engineering in 2008. He’s a self-described “engineer by profession, but writer by passion.” He currently resides in Greenville, North Carolina, and has worked as an electronics engineer for the past nine years.
When he’s not writing, N. J. is doing one, or a combination of the following:
Binge reading anything that he can get his hands on, digesting YouTube videos, watching movies (and picking out ALL of the inevitable hidden messages...ALL of them), taking random road trips, working out, spending time with friends and family, or listening to songs and music genres that may or may not shock you. :)
THE YAHWEH GENE is N. J.’s debut novel.

(5.00 from 1 review)
THE YAHWEH GENE is the first book in a series about the world as it will be in the not-so-distant future. After the planet has been ravaged by catastrophe, nineteen-year-old Emmanuel "Manny" Kohen is caught in this whirlwind of distress, limitation, and belief in an "assumed" Creator. Significant, undeniable, and personal events lead him to the thresholds of his belief, his sanity…and his life.
