Nadine began drawing in earnest at the ripe old age of six. Born into a challenging environment, writing stories and creating funny characters lifted her spirits and motivated her to overcome many obstacles. By ten years old, she knew she was destined to one day create inspirational, motivational stories for children. Her favorite person in the world, Aunt Patty, often reassured her over the years, “Mark my word, Nadine Marie, one day you will become a cartoonist!” Over many years, while pursuing an unrelated career, Nadine continued to develop her skills as a writer and artist, eventually creating the stories and whimsical characters known as Hug Bandit and Company.
