This was an amazing book. Even though it typically takes me a few weeks to read a book from start to finish with much dedication to the process, I did this one in two days. It was the kind of book you absolutely can not put down when you start reading it. I was intrigued the entire time and my fingernails were no more when I was done. I don't think that I can properly review this book without giving things away. There was action, drama, humor, gory violence, adventure, romance, you name it, this book had it. There were so many twists and turns that by the time I was done, my chest and eyes hurt because I felt like I didn't breath or blink the entire time. All I will say is that this story has me hooked. Even though I typically only read with my computer or kindle, I had to buy the sequel right away. I can't wait for it to arrive!

I can’t remember the last time a book made me cringe, upset me, made me laugh, and even made me cry. To say I loved this book is an understatement. After reading the first book, I didn’t think it could live up to the expectations, but it did, in a big way. I loved the return of Laura (my favorite character from the first). It’s always gratifying to see a woman play the role of the badass. She definitely stands out in this book. The author did a brilliant job with her character. Her emotion whether it was anger or sadness was as intense as it gets. Agent Flynt was great as always and he always seems to have something up his sleeve. I’m interested to see what else he knows. The new character (left unnamed) was amazing as well and the twist toward the end was INSANE! If you liked the first book, you’ll love this one.
