Smashwords Interview

What are you working on next?
We have several projects in the works. We're currently reading for The Martian Wave, The Fifth Di..., Spaceports & Spidersilk, The Divided States of America, Mars Station Beta, Nomadic Novellas, Future Syndicate II, and A Poet Explores the Stars. We're also still reading for novels and short story collections. Please see our guidelines for complete details.
How do you approach cover design?
Most of our cover design is done by Laura Givens, although J Alan Erwine designs a few...especially for short stories and shared world stuff. We look for something that's going to grab the reader's attention, and at the same time something that hints at what the story might be about...without giving too much away.
