I'm married with two grown sons, one daughter-in-law, and a granddaughter. I love to write, but I love Jesus more. It's been a long time since I've done any writing, but I'm hoping that with God's okay and his guidance I'll soon be able to get started on my next book. In the meantime, watch the video, read an excerpt and order the book.
Businessman Dexter Sweeney thrives on control. Bush pilot Wiley Hart doesn't take chances. But when a routine flight to a gold camp in Alaska turns perilous, Wiley is forced to make a risky decision, which will have unforeseen consequences. Stranded in the wilderness with no hope for rescue, Dexter and Wiley must rely on themselves and each other for survival.
I got a kick out of this story. Ms. Nordin does a great job with characterization. The two main characters are real, quirky, humorous, and likeable.
It was a cute story from start to finish. The only thing I would suggest is a little more research on Alaska. There were a few incongruities, but those were minor in relation to the story.
Overall, it was a good read.
