Smashwords Interview

Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in Washington DC and Greenwood, South Carolina. Each area had a different effect on my thoughts and writing: Washington DC gave me a little edgy side of writing, kind of straight to the point and South Carolina gave me the ability to become more emotional and patient with my writings and directions to lead others. Both areas have given me a balance to write anything.
When did you first start writing?
I first started writing when I was ten years old. I totally hated the process but loved the outcome and it made me think with purpose and develop a thorough understanding of the content up for discussion.
