I was born and grew up in Pietermaritzburg, Kwa Zulu Natal Province in South Africa. In my late twenties, I moved to Cape Town where my life changed when I became a Christian. I attended the Bible Institute of South Africa for a year.
On my return to Pietermarizburg, i moved to Durban near the sea shore where i met Jim and married him. During those years i travelled extensively around the World. I also worked in administration for our company which I enjoyed.
I completed my Bachelor and honours degrees in Theology.
Jim died after 26 years of marriage and it was in the following six years of being widowed that I initiated an inner city ministry in the Albert Park area. It was during this time that I met my future husband Godfrey and together we served the Lord in the most rewarding years of my life.
I then took time off to read for my Masters degree in Biblical Studies and now contemplate researching for a PHD.
Writing is a (brave) new and exciting venture for me, having always been an avid reader and of course, I desire that what I commit to print will also be a blessing to others.
The Author draws on a lifetime's experience of grappling with issues of disappointment and heartache from a Christian perspective.
Instilled into this compact book are her personal findings. the book centers around the believer's attitude towards God and towards oneself as the key to coping with shattering times.
It is ultimately a book of encouragement to never give up no matter what.
