Born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, my family moved to Arlington, Texas where I grew up and graduated from High School. After graduating from the University of Texas at Arlington I entered Dallas Theological Seminary, married and graduated in 1973. My wife, Paula, and I moved to North Bend, Oregon then to Gulfport, Mississippi. There I pastored a small independent Bible church for many years. In 1989 we moved to the Kansas City area and taught in a small Christian school until 2004 when I started working for Cabela’s.
I continue to minister in my local church, Calvary Bible Church, in Bonner Springs, Kansas teaching Sunday School and occasionally filling in for our pastor and I maintain a Bible Study Website. My hobbies include herpetology (I have a ball python named Fuzzy!), photography and gardening.
Romans Revisited is textual outline of the letter to the church at Rome developed from Paul's use of questions and answers dealing with issues he would have faced in that day and in that church. In this respect, it sometimes differs from many commentaries and outlines on this epistle, which are colored by theological doctrines and issues of our day.
The Son of God is used today with reference to our Lord's deity. Yet, the New Testament uses it in reference to His being the Messiah. This misinterpretation has led to doctrinal error and a lack of understanding of our adoption as children of God. This book examines the sonship of Jesus Christ as a direct fulfillment of the Davidic Covenant and its extension to us in our identification with Him.
The Coronation of the King is a short commentary on the Book of Revelation showing it is a picture or glimpse of the coming coronation ceremony of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as King of all kings and Lord of all lords, Sovereign over all the creation of God from a conservative, dispensational viewpoint.
