ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Demitrius Jones spent the last three years studying sub-cultures, criminal entities, and gangs. He has a Masters in Applied Sociology, with a concentration in Criminal Justice. He also has a BA in Criminal Justice and Sociology. His specializations are subcultures and stratification. He has two other publications: Permission to Ride: “A Study of Perceptions Among African-American Bikers in the Motorcycle Subculture” and, “The Words of a Soul-Ciologist in Poetry and Prose.” His novel, "Killing the Anointed" will be available in print, by late winter. He is an avid reader, writer, and motorcycle enthusiast.

In a tale of passion, action, and suspense, California Bridges is a crooked cop who has amassed a criminal empire. He and several officers have spent years dabbling in lucrative criminal activity, hoping for one score that will let them retire as millionaires. Things take a turn for the worse when an unarmed teen is killed, and Bridges' ex-partner threatens to expose their corruption.
