Emily Paige Skeen

I'm a brand new author from a small town in Georgia, just trying to get my name out to the literary world. I graduated college with a degree in Public Relations. After graduation, I worked for a small business, handling all their PR and marketing efforts. After a change of heart, however, I went in search of a new direction. I then found Ribley Family Chiropractic, where I made a home for myself for four years. But even the best job and the best coworkers could never take the place of my dream career as a writer. In August of 2014, I decided to take the leap and leave my job to pursue that dream full-time. I'm married and have two young children, so writing gives me the flexibility to be home with them during these crucial years. In addition to novel writing, I write web content (blog posts, articles, etc.) for various businesses.
I've always wanted to be a writer because, like most other writers, I love the feeling of creating characters, story lines, and entire imaginary worlds in which people can lose themselves. It is my goal to bring a little joy and faith to a society where those two sentiments are becoming more and more rare.
