Alexia Scott was born in central Ohio and began painting at an early age. She studied drawing and design at Kent State University and received her MFA in painting from The George Washington University. Alexia was a Lecturer of Fine Arts at Georgetown University, teaching Drawing. Her work can be found at the Smithsonian Naturalist Center, The National Zoological Park and private collections.
