Biography

Pat began writing children’s stories on retirement.
After completing a course with The Academy of Children’s Writers’, obtaining a certificate of competence, she has had stories published on a regular basis with ‘The People’s Friend, and Ireland’s Own.

Her first children’s book entitled ‘Jamie’, was published in 2010 her second book was released in March 2013 entitled ‘The Banished Alien’.

She is a widow, with two grown up children, two grandchildren, one great grandson and a great granddaughter. Her great grandchildren inspire many of her stories.

She lives in a small market town called WARE in Hertfordshire, where she has lived for over 60 years.

Apart from enjoying the company of family and friends, her main interest is writing children’s fiction.
