Pauline was born in Rochdale, England; she has also lived in New Zealand and South Africa. As a child, she loved to write humorous stories, poems and radio scripts. Which she recorded for her fictional radio station Radio 4½. She studied and graduated, after many gap years, from the University of Life.

Pauline enjoys writing fiction with humour, history and fantasy and enjoys reading books from different genres. She is an animal lover, owned by two cats, one of them Patchy, writes books and has her own blog and Twitter account.
