Brenda Lee Acheson

Biography

I consider myself a normal healthy older woman. Not overly good looking, overweight but active, positive and outgoing.

While many of my friends got married and had kids out of high school I didn't – I had no desire to and lived a normal life that I loved until I hit my 40s and then became lonely.

My first trip into the online world was more than 10 years ago. I had to deal with scammers (now called Catfishers) and managed to find a man who was real and who I fell in love with. Nine years later we split up, and a year after that I started my second trip into the online world.

What helped me survive the experience was my education – I have a BA in Psychology and Sociology. I lived as a single woman for enough years that I wasn't dependent upon being with someone else. I never lost my belief that I would find someone and I did!
