Ponce Ferguson is a native from Costa Rica, where he began his career in journalism at the now extinct, Radio Atlantida in his native city of Puerto Limon, on the Caribbean coast.
He’s also worked as a freelance reporter and co-founder of the online variety news website, KAVALSPRESSEN. His writings have appeared in print and online in Diario Extra newspaper, diarioextra.com and ExtraTV Canal 42, all located in San Jose, Costa Rica.
He’s covered high profile Costa Rican cases in the United States that range from money laundering to Costa Rican voting centers located across the U.S during its last elections. He’s been covering the United Nations for the Grupo Extra since 2013 and just this year he started covering the UNGA for Richmond’s local radio station, Radio Poder 1380AM.
Currently, Ponce works as a high school Spanish teacher in Richmond, Virginia-USA.
