My husband and I have lived with a wolf that was born in captivity as her ancestors were for 15 plus years. We have also had bobcats and foxes that we loved very much even a golden jungle cat. So wild animals were no strangers to us, just a matter of doing a lot of research and learning how to get along with these wild animals that have passed our way through out the years. Each companion have their own personality just as humans do. All in all we lived a very different life style according to what each of the companions needs were. Mde Myinga was not only the greatest companion and love of our lives. We learned much from her as she learned from us that we remained alpha with lots of thinking and ways around any trouble that could have occurred. It also took a lot of love and thinking power just to stay one jump ahead of Myinga.

This is a color illustrated biographical account of raising a wolf pup in a home environment. It documents many of both the wonderful and not so great aspects of the fifteen year adventure. It is hoped the book will not only entertain but will also help add to the understanding of these wonderful animals. The reader will come away knowing why having a wolf or wolf hybrid can be very challenging.
