Charlotte Victoria Rees

Biography

Hello my name is Charlotte Rees, creator of Petite Library, very nice to meet you!

I started Petite Library because I love storytelling and I know children do too…I have travelled the world meeting children from all different cultures and backgrounds, all in the aim of understanding what children like best, what engages them the most and what are the most effective ways they learn English.

I spent 2 years in Chongqing China, working as a curriculum developer and English teacher. In China my mind was truly opened to Early Years English learning. I learnt how important a good story could be for teaching English and how alive a class could become just by reading a story.

Growing up in the rugged seaside village of Sennen, South West England, my bubbling imagination was able to roam free, then in 2014 my constant love for writing stories and illustrating finally came together… Petite Library was born.

Now I am living in beautiful Italy, where I can divide my time between tutoring English to little ones and developing new petite stories to share with you all. .. always learning and always creating.

And so ….. Welcome to Petite Library…

Please Enjoy & Read & Share, for what is a story if it is not shared!? Visit us at www.petitelibrary.com
