    (no rating)
Cute and entertaining, but rife with typos, misspellings, and misuse of language. If we are going to publish our own books, we need better self-editing. I do not approve of the star rating system, so I have ignored it.

This is one of those books that hook you first by the cover, then by the blurb, then by the first chapter--which is theway the it should work in buying an e-book. Wilson has created her own version of the universe peopled with characters that you would either like to be or would like to stay away from. The story is exciting, the writing is vibrant, and the anticipation remains through the last chapter. Looking forward to #2 in the series.

An exquisite piece of futuristic writing. Much better than 99 percent of what you will find on the racks of most bookstores and better than 100 per cent of what you will find on the best seller lists.n
  • Keeping Secrets: A Mimi/Gianna Mystery on Sep. 05, 2013

One of the very best in the hopefully increasing sub-genre of lesbian mystery. Written 20 years ago, it is still fresh (and scary) today.

For fans of flash fiction, this is as good as it gets. In just a page or two, the author, spare and clear, shows us a hard side of growing up that we sometimes, wrongly, ignore.
  • Joe's Honeymoon, 1947 on Jan. 15, 2014

Short shorts are supposed to be sort of snapshots of life. This story takes us beyond that to become the snapshot of a snapshot. I'm looking forward to reading more of these, maybe in a collected volume
