Smashwords Interview

What's the story behind your latest book?
I wrote a memoir entitled 32 Years Man & Buoy charting my service in the Royal Navy. After it was published, my editor suggested writing a novel, as he put it, 'You have a way of telling a story'
What motivated you to become an indie author?
Probably my mother. I created a web site detailing my career in the Royal Navy and my mum said, 'There's a book here, why don't you write about it?'
So I did.
