How do you discover the ebooks you read?
I often get recommendations from friends and relatives for books to read. This is a great way to discover books because these people know you and have an insight into the type of book you might like. As an author, I know how important word-of-mouth is to my books. If you like an author's work, tell your friends, leave a review online and support them.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
The first story I ever wrote was in middle school and was prompted by a teacher who told me to use my imagination to come up with a unique story for a creative writing assignment. I wrote about a "Great Cheese Disaster" where the hot sun melted all the cheese in a warehouse causing a flood of gooey, melted cheese through a small town. My mom saved it and I read it not too long ago. It was goofy but fun to read again.
