Russian Engineering and Science Schools on the American scale.
Since my emigration from Russia some 25 years ago many times I faced the necessity to find an employment opportunity in western market. IT IS EXACTLY SUCH A NECESSITY THAT INITIATED MY BOOKS AND MY RESEARCH. When I worked on my book, I was mainly interested in 2 practical tasks: 1. HOW TO BETTER APPLY EXISTING RUSSIAN ENGINEERING BACKGROUND IN AMERICAN MARKET and 2. HOW TO MATCH RUSSIAN ENGINEERING BACKGROUND TO THE STANDARDS OF AMERICAN UNIVERSITY EDUCATION SYSTEM.

It is very little known in the West that the study process in Russian universities is 2 to 3 times more intense than in Western universities so that within 4 years of study Russian students manage to acquire volume of knowledge and skills equal to some 10 years of study in Western university. Today this fact can be easily discovered, yet it remains largely unknown –both in Russia and in the West
