I came of age in the 1980's, in the cultural desert of modern suburbia. It was at East Carolina University where I discovered writers like Rimbaud, Henry Miller, Hermann Hesse, Bukowski, and Kerouac. Needless to say my entrepreneurial studies just didn't interest me so much anymore.
When I switched to the University of Arizona for creative writing I found it was more important as a writer to see the country from the grass and street upwards instead of in the classroom. Much travel ensued and still does.
I've done a great deal of ghost writing along with my own fiction.
