I live in the Olympic Peninsula, with my family and puppy. I live for a hot cup of tea on a cold rainy day with a good book. I've wanted to be a writer since age five, wanting to tell wonderful stories and the desire hasn’t stopped.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
My favorite part of writing, is when I start a new story. When I begin to build a whole new world, or continue to build my own little world, it's like a shot of adrenaline to my system. Nothing is impossible and every word I write is the best I've ever written. It centers me and reminds me of why I keep trying to be the best writer I can possibly be.
What are you working on next?
I just started a collection of novellas to the A Daughter's Fury series. Each novella focuses on the cities Alex visited before her story starts in A Daughter's Fury, the "official" first book in the series.
After witnessing her father's murder, Alex is on a mission for revenge. Things change when secrets about her estranged mother come to light. She travels to a place where she can learn about her heritage and be safe. Until the life of a young Hero is in danger. Alex and two companions go to a city Alex swore never to step foot in again.
Before A Daughter's Fury, Alex went by Kat.
Kat is on a mission to avenge her father's murder, when she meets Nathan. A man with green eyes that can see into her soul. Nathan knows he's fighting a ghost but he wants Kat's heart. Time is running out; Kat's past is on the verge of catching up to her. Is Nathan's love enough or will vengeance consume her whole?
