Rachel is convinced that real life is nearly always more interesting than fiction, which is why she can rarely tear herself away from writing true stories in order to compose fiction tales. She has lived in America, Malaysia, and China. You will most likely hear references to things like her husband, Angel, the language of Mandarin Chinese, and Captain Jack Sparrow if you read much at all of what she writes. She's passionate about blogging, so be sure to check out her websites for regularly updated content.
What is your writing process?
Nearly everything I write is inspired by random happenings or encounters when I'm out and about--I'll jot down notes on a scrap of paper if I have one, and I'll head straight to the laptop when I get home to capture what happened in words.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I currently work full-time as an ESL teacher at a local high school in ShenZhen, China. I teach 1000 students a semester, and I absolutely love my job!

One moment you might be reading about disgruntled customers at the beauty salon, and the next topic will be cockroaches invading the shower.
