Wow, what a great story! I couldn't put it down, many chores left undone to continue reading. If you love stories of Britain during the war, you are going to enjoy. I quickly found and bought her next book--
Cobwebs in Time and can't wait to start reading. There goes the chores again.
Wow, I purchased this e-book after reading The Magic Moon Cat and started to read it right away. It is just as good and I love how it flowed in with the first book. Now all I have to do is find the third book of the series. I sure hope I can find it! Loved it,loved them both?
I was having trouble getting my books to download, so I just kind of picked this one to see if it would work. It did and once I started to read it, I couldn't put it down!So many of the free books on this site are so good and this was certainly one of them.
I downloaded this book awhile ago and finally got to read it. I was amazed that this was a first book. Very well written and holds your interest throughout. Makes you remember what family is all about.
Really enjoyed this book. A true who done it! Kept me guessing. I as another reviewer was a bit disappointed in the ending, feeling that it could have continued another chapter. Still worth a read though.
I finally got around to reading this wonderful story, having purchased it some time ago. I was delighted with the story line and to read of the struggles of the women during war time. They were a hardy lot!
Very well written, kept my interest from start to finish.
I was pleasantly surprised by this book. A wonderful story of a family's hardships, laughter and love while setting up a homestead.
I found the family photos added so much to the appreciation of their story. Good on you for taking your father's words and running with them!
