The author knows how to keep you guessing. Just when you think you've figured this one out, think again. The characters are original, and believable. Ms. Pitts has a knack for capturing a personality in a few sentences, and bringing a color picture of the individual alive on the page. Her sympathies definitely lay with the pluggers - the ones who do their jobs, and keep the wheels turning. If you know Fargo you'll recognize it, and if you don't, you'll feel like you've seen it after reading this very enjoyable mystery.
